BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

Hmm, what does it say about someone's "intellectual" capacity if they have to ask the question, "Is Bush an idiot"? Observation, analysis, and just plain old common sense over the last 6 years should be enough to know Bush is an idiot! Just in case there's a need for something tangible to support the facts, take a look around, check out the results of the Bush policies, his "stratergies," his preemptive wars, his lack of methodology, his incompetence, his arrogance, and his life history, and then you'll know for sure, yep, Bush is an Idiot! My grandmother always said, "It doesn't take intellectual capacity to be arrogant, wicked, evil, devious, cunning, unscrupulous, crafty, conniving, sneaky, deceitful, scheming, and Machiavellian, it only takes ignorance and an insatiable ego"!

It's beginning to look as though some Repuglicans are looking for excuses and somewhere, anywhere, to place the blame! Hmm, "It's Israel's fault," or maybe "he's in a Messianic state and unreachable," or maybe "Cheney made him do it," and then there's always the age old excuse, "He's absolutely insane." Anything will do, so long as George W. doesn't have to accept responsibility for the horror he's brought down on the entire world! Again Poppy to the rescue, and that's the very reason why the world is in this particular predicament! Poppy's always been there to save George from himself, but just who will save the world?

And the final culprit excuse in the Repuglican blame game becomes us, the American public: "August 14, 2006 ... a July Harris Poll reported that 50 percent of Americans still believe that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction when Bush invaded that country and that 64 percent of Americans still believe that Saddam Hussein had strong links with al-Qaida. How could a majority of the population in an allegedly free country with an allegedly free press be so totally misinformed? Americans never check any facts ... For six years, the Bush regime has been able to count on the ignorant and naive American public to believe whatever tale that is told them. American gullibility has yet to fail the Bush regime." To the Repuglicans I say, beware of the 50 percent and the 36 percent who know the truth and who aren't as ignorant nor as naïve as one might think, for we are not sitting on our behinds and simply watching Bush destroy America!

Mainstream corporate media has never really needed an excuse to beat up on Hillary Clinton, it's as though she's their ace in the hole whenever there's a slow news day, or whenever there's a need to divert attention from whatever blunder the current administration has committed. Though I must admit I was left wondering why all the recent attention and speculation about Senator Clinton on the tube. And it finally came to me, this administration, and mainstream corporate media become very, very afraid when someone is intelligent enough and brave enough to speak the truth: "Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), during an Aug. 11 campaign stop in New York City, lambasted Vice President Cheney for his over-the-top tirade, declaring, 'I don't take anything he says seriously anymore. I think that he has been a very counterproductive -- even destructive -- force in our country, and I am very disheartened by the failure of leadership from the President and Vice President.'"

So many questions left unanswered -- was Flight 93 intentionally shot down? Was it part of an overall plan gone awry? Did cell phone messages from the passengers prove they were indeed trying to avert tragedy and did those passengers, in deciding to fight the terrorists, actually thwart a preconceived devious plan to make the Bushies look strong on security? Did the Bush administration unknowingly pre-empt the heroes on that flight and order the plane shot down? So many lies, so many cover-ups, will the truth ever be told?

Keep in mind, whatever you see and/or read in mainstream corporate media is coming from the same people who touted a "preemptive" war in Iraq because Saddam had WMDs! Fear and loathing is all that George Bush, Dick Cheney, the Bush administration, the Repuglican Party, and mainstream corporate media have to offer the American public. Their only solution to the dilemmas of this world is to send someone else's children to fight the battles!
