In order to keep ourselves wholly independent, we do not accept advertising, and have no corporate sponsors. Truthout’s existence depends on the support of individual readers who share our goal of building a vibrant, dynamic, strong independent press. In fact, 96 percent of our annual budget comes directly from reader contributions.
Becoming a member of Truthout by signing up for a monthly donation is the most effective way to strengthen our organization, and enables us to improve our service and increase our impact. By committing to support us each month, you’ll allow us to spend less time on fundraising and more time fulfilling our mission.
