Subject: Waxman Expresses Concern Over State Department's Handling of Blackwater Shooting
Today Chairman Waxman wrote to Secretary Rice following reports that a Blackwater contractor, who was fired after he shot and killed an Iraq security guard, was hired by another private contractor to work in the region two months later.
He has said this before. The last time it was when Congress had been confronted with the atrocities at the U.S. military-run Abu Ghraib prison in Baghdad, and was passing legislation that would outlaw torture.
