Subject: Bill O'Reilly on Veterans Day

I was watching Bill O'Reilly yesterday "Veterans Day", as he went into the all too predictable rant about Major Hasan as a terrorist. Try as he might to blame President Obama (who didn't see that coming) I was not listening to his words for 2 reasons, first I was at the gym and secondly the sound of Bill O'Reilly's voice always results in a gag reflex and near vomiting.

So I was reading. He said that President Obama needs to unite the world against terrorism. Which makes me wonder is Bill O'Reilly real? or is he some sort of robotic device? The world has united behind us once again. They love us once again. President Obama united Russia with us against Iran. He won the goddam Nobel Peace Prize you fucking idiot, or you inantimate humanoid machine. But then I read, "THere are those in this country who are running away from the problem of terrorism" and the subject matter was Major Hasan. Major Hasan as his title indicates was/is a member of the U.S. military. He was given several bad reviews and still moved down to Ft. Hood. His job was to listen to the horror of war and help those in need. He morphed into a mass murderer, was it because of his fanatical religious beliefs or did he simply slip slowly into insanity. No one knows.

However at the end of the day, while there were clearly red flags (at least reported to be) that should have been caught. It is outrageous for Bill O'Reilly or nayone else to disparage our military and accuse them of running away from terrorists. Our military is the best in the world, they deserve our support and respect. And for Bill O'Reilly to utter such mindless shit about our Commander and Chief and our military on Veterans Day is reprehensible. He should be identified for what he is...... The dumbest man on the planet. The winner of the Dopes Piece Prize. The Moron on the airwaves. The America Hater. Or maybe as a cyborg he just needs to have his electronics updated.

Subject: Health Care Reform? Not as it stands now

We cannot control the fact that we have Female Organs just like men can’t control that they have Male Organs. I can control if I smoke. Should people who could possibly get heart disease be charged more? What about people who have the potential to get diabetes? Where does it end? By just having certain DNA markers, we have the potential to have a whole host of diseases. Charging more because I am a Woman is discriminatory, period. Where do we draw the line? Do we make a list of all behaviors and DNA markers, have everyone tested and integrated to find out what they are doing so we can determine their risk? Well, we already do that for life insurance, why can’t we do that for health insurance? That is a very common argument.

But we are not talking about life insurance. Health insurance involves activity to keep us healthy as well as addressing when we get sick or injured. There is only one event that can initiate the payment of life insurance – and that is death. There are millions of possible events that can initiate the payment of health insurance. It would be exhausting and too costly to develop a fair payment method based on sex, DNA markers, lifestyle choices, etc. Where would we draw the line anyway? Behaviors that are thought of as good for you, like jogging, can cause injuries; football can cause brain damage, and the list goes on.

Subject: Health Reform

It would seem we have the same level of deceit among our Democrats as we had with our Republicans under Bush. After raving assurances from Nancy Pelosi about how the house bill would not be passed without a public option -- her so-called heroic public option was not worth putting on paper, and it propped up the insurance industy just as much as any republican measure would. Our Dems are still weaklings, and they are just as unsupportive of Americans as are the republicans.

Subject: Thank God

Thank God we have a start into having health care for all. A START!

No, I will not complain as I have seen and heard others who want it perfect or not at all. ARE THEY CRAZY??

We could not get a perfect bill with Blue Dogs who BTW we could do without. Come Primary I for one will not forget, and will not vote for any Blue Dog who did not vote for this bill. I am shy about anything Blue Dog now that I know they are republicans in Democratic clothing.

We have rabid republicans who are the devil we know! We were blindsided by Blue Dogs, who are a stab in the back, as well as any Democrat who, for any prideful reason say, this bill is not good enough for us, (We the People) and thought it courageous to vote NO! THAT WAS NOT COURAGE, that's what I call saving your behind in the states who will be voting for you. Not helping the poor and those who cannot get health care, and not supporting this bill for other reasons,is plain Bull and not fooling anybody. Also is spineless and lame. Be gone all naysayers!

Thank our President and our House speaker for the hard work they have done to get the vote of 220. This in itself was a miracle. Let us now see if Harry will be just as bold to get the bill passed in the Senate. Harry will not be forgiven if he cannot.

Again, thank God for those who voted for this bill, we the people are thankful we got anything at all.

Subject: Bachmann

A message to Bachman and her supporters

It’s with great interest I watch the rabid right wing hold a press conference {sic} where there is a call for revolution against the elected government of the United States.

This is not only appalling, but in my opinion treason, and the press is derelict to not call it such.

To her and her 4,000 bused in supporters I would like to take this opportunity to tell them, real Americans will not stand by and watch as you try to take over our elected government, so tread lightly.

If you want to change what you don't like do it at the polls, not through threats of violence as you may find violence met with violence and it seems there are more of us who are happy with our government then there are of you.

I fought in Vietnam for the right of free speech, however free speech comes with a duty not to subvert the elected process of the U.S., so how bout we cut this crap out now and get on with our obligation to take care of Americans instead of kicking our fellow citizens when they are down.

Thanks Buzz for letting me vent

Subject: Carly Fiorina was effectively fired from HP

Dear Buzz readers:

Some say that Palin destroyed McCain's campaign, but in fact, it was not her. Let's dig deeper. Carly Fiorina is the person who ran McCain's campaign. Countless voters called to tell Sen. McCain not to have her run his campaign. He did not listen. Why do I think Carly Fiorina is capable of destroying organizations she is with? Let's ask those at Lucent Technologies first. Then let's ask why Carly Fiorina (her ex-husband's last name) REALLY left HP. She was told by the HP board that she was to share her power or hit the road. Carly chose the highway. She was effectively fired from HP.

Why did the board at HP try to kick Carly Fiorina out? The stock was at about $30 when Carly took over the company as CEO. Carly Fiornia drove the stock down to almost $20. She laid off 57,000 people, gave herself a $25,000,000 bonus, and then the new CEO took over. Now the stock is around $47, and that is during a recession. If Carly Fiorina can do a hatchet job on a company when times were good, imagine what Carly could do in DC during a recession? And she is running her campaign on a jobs message, saying a jobless recovery is not acceptable? Well, Carly, I guess you would know since you are the queen of layoffs.

Subject: Owens' good Omen

The thing about NY 23rd, is that DeDe, the GOP candidate, after dropping out, was actually calling people, telling them to vote for Owens, due to Hoffman being dangerous. That is how bad a representative Hoffman would have been.

Subject: What Happened

What happened to The United States? What happened to the entire world? What happened to right from wrong? What happened to common sense? What happened to love thy neighbor? What happened to do best for the most? What happened to statesmen? What happened to our leaders? What happened is corporations have more rights than people. What happened is greed and corruption. What WILL happen is frightening.

Subject: Cheney's little deferment, Liz lies.

The apple does not fall far from the tree!

While daddy sent our troops like lambs to the slaughter to his ego war, so goes Liz Cheney to lie for him and as we all know she was taught by the best of liars ever, her daddy. A daddy drunk with power!

How can this little girl live with herself if she had to accept the guilt of her father's lie that sent our troops to die, and then refuse to be there to honor them when they returned home to their families.

Cheney's motto must have been 'if you don't see them they where not there.' Also, this did not happen, and no one will remember who sent them or why they had to die!

While President Obama, by doing the loving thing as Commander in Chief and being there to honor those who died in the line of duty, is chastised. Can you believe it? Being honorable they, these troops, went, not knowing, it was on a Cheney power, ego trip. Baby Liz along with daddy have the shameful nerve to lie about President Obama's motive to be there when these heroes arrived home to their grieving loved ones. Why? Because the guilt would be so hard to bear for baby and daddy, and the truth does not permit them to live in peace with themselves. So lie they must to survive. Liz can't get her head around what? The truth??? I'll bet she can't!

Liz, daddy's little girl, who are we to judge you our your daddy, there is a higher authority that does have the power to do just that, and believe me there will be an atonement to be sure, because those who died for the daddy's big lie will not rest in peace till then. And all your lies will not do a darn thing to make daddy's sins go away.

Subject: A new America....

I am simply appalled at Joe Lieberman's stance on health reform. The man is simply a corporate sponsored weasel with no morals. Why is this so? It's the political system which legalizes bribery and corruption. This country that constantly waves the flag, spouts off on Democracy and, in general, says how bloody good it is, is a dismal failure when it comes to running its self. The system is rife with greed and corruption. It can be made better. We must have public financing for national elections. A parliamentary system. Term limits. Multi political parties. This is just for starters!

I am awaiting, breathlessly, for the completion of the so called debate on public health. It is perfectly obvious to anyone who has experienced a truly national program that we need a single payor plan along with a private insurance opportunity! Not the other way round. It is just disgusting to read of people like Lieberman and others and their spouses intimately involved with corporations (the sweet breath of fascism) ignoring the populace and its wishes.

We need a new America which fulfills the promise of its beginnings. A truly democratic country regardless of wealth, color and creed. And we need it NOW!
