Subject: If Only

If only our politicians would listen to the voice of the people as did BuzzFlash, I'm sure the country would be in much better shape. Thank you for the Classic BuzzFlash button and giving us a "Public Option."

Subject: Looks LIke Our Government's Content With Cutting The Number Of Americans Who Die From Lack Of Health Care From 45,000 To 22,000

"Why not reduce the number of uninsured to zero?"

"Only a single payer system such as Medicare for all can accomplish this."

"And what's holding this back?"

"Our government puts laissez faire ideology before human life."

"Yet only two decades ago our government couldn't praise Communist China's Deng Xianping enough when he said "Doesn't matter whether the cat is black or white so long as it catches the mouse?"

"Apparently our leaders consider openmindedness and flexibility to be good for China but bad for America."

"And the public be damned?"

"Exactly."

Subject: "Classic" BuzzFlash

Thanks so much for making classic BuzzFlash available to us dinosaurs who just can't move on. I liked it then and I like it now. I am also happy that BuzzFlash listens to its readers and responds.

Subject: What Belief Do The Rich Everywhere In The World Have In Common?

"That they deserve their riches (even if they inherited it) by dint of having worked hard all their lives and that the have-nots could be rich too, if it weren't for their laziness, refusal to accept personal responsibility, and their inability to delay immediate gratification in exchange for future gain."

"How self-serving."

"In what way?"

"According to this belief personal failings are what shape the destiny of the have-nots of the world, a view which, very conveniently for the rich, just happens to relieve them of any sense of responsibility for the plight of the poor."

"It gets them off the hook?"

"Exactly."

"Otherwise?"

"They'd be less resistant to paying taxes."
