BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

It sounds to me as though North Korea has answered George Bush's call to "bring it on"! Perhaps not quite in the way Bush thought, but nevertheless Kim Jong-il has stepped up to the plate with a "nukular" weapon of his own! And some foolishly think George Bush and the Repuglicans can keep us all safer! As the clock ticks, better listen up, the world has become a more dangerous place since George Bush first stole the office of the presidency! We are facing more peril than ever before thanks to Bush's in your face, intimidating, demanding, lack of diplomacy, macho, bullying, bravado! For God's sake and for our safety and security please pray that impeachment proceedings start sooner rather than later, and since he's afraid of horses, let Bush ride that limo back to the ranch!

When will these Repuglicans realize, there is no time for a pre-election "reassessment"? The time to do something about Iraq and George Bush's ridiculous "stay the course" was yesterday! When will they realize that they, Congressional Repuglicans, are as responsible as the Bush boy for this horrific, repulsive, war in Iraq? The Repuglican majority has given George Bush a rubber stamp to do as he pleases; they have enabled the terror he rained down on Iraq! Preemptive, unnecessary war is NOT a "noble" cause! Hindsight is not better than Oversight, which is the very reason the founding fathers created the checks and balances they provided in our Constitution! Frankly the whole lot of them have been derelict in their duty, by not fulfilling their oaths to uphold the Constitution! Impeach them all, for they deserted America during the time of this country's greatest need!

Frankly, this "bipartisan Iraq Study Group -- led by former Secretary of State James Baker, a Republican, and former Democratic congressman Lee Hamilton" -- sounds like a pre-planned, preemptive, "Hail Mary" pass orchestrated by #41 to again get #43 off the hot seat! In remembering James Baker's trip to Florida and his efforts to guarantee the most colossal political theft we've ever experienced in America, we shouldn't count on any credible results involving responsibility for Poppy's boy! In the end, it's just another George Bush bailout like all the others Poppy has directed over the years!

"Woodward also tells Russert another fascinating nugget of information: Vice-President Cheney cursed him out over the information he revealed about the White House meetings with Henry Kissinger and hung up on him." Now, why in the world would Cheney be mad about Woodward's revelations that Henry Kissinger is advising Bush and Cheney on the Iraqi war? Why is Cheney upset about the public knowing that "staying the course" is a Kissinger recommendation? Could it be because, "One of the key proponents, over the years, of torturing and murdering dissenters in nations that experience strong challenges to their oligarchies or ruling class elite is Henry Kissinger." And then, of course there's that matter of Kissinger's previous dubious political machinations, can anyone say, "Operation Condor"??? Hmm, just wondering after all, what got Cheney's panties in such a knot??? And the base thinks he's a "good Christian," that man who is willing to fire off more four letter words than a drunken sot during a binge!

To borrow a phrase from the Repuglicans, "at the end of the day," when all is said and done, will we find out that since Bush preemptively invaded Iraq, more innocent Iraqis died as a result, than during Saddam Hussein's entire reign? Will we find out that bringing "freedom and democracy" to Iraq caused more death and destruction than Saddam was responsible for ordering? Has this unbelievable Bush blunder created a genocide of incredible proportions?

"CNN, NBC, and the Associated Press...ignored a new report in The Hill that a House Republican aide provided Foley's alleged emails to the media. And they overlooked a recent statement by ABC News investigative reporter Brian Ross that the sources for his initial Foley report -- to the extent they had partisan affiliations -- were Republicans." It all sounds like a Karl Rove orchestrated two-step, give up the "Page" predator scandal, designed to take the heat, via Bob Woodward's latest book, "State of Denial" off George Bush! Rove isn't really worried about the November elections, he knows the black-box "fix" is in, so in order to silence the truth about George, give them salacious details, sex, and scandal, to keep the press busy!
