BARBARA'S DAILY BUZZFLASH MINUTE

"Two Hezbollah members of the Lebanese Cabinet said Saturday the militia wanted to keep its weapons south of the Litani River -- a zone the U.N. resolution calls for demilitarizing. Yet the Cabinet unanimously approved the resolution, with Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah indicating the two Hezbollah ministers voted for it in a spirit of national unity." Hmm, sounds like a "signing statement" to me! Could it be, that Nasrallah and Hezbollah have taken a cue from George Bush on how to implement a "line item veto," how to appear as though you agree when you really don't? Could it be a case of twisted minds and "egotestical" men thinking alike?

Just as an alcoholic doesn't stop his addiction by having one more drink, George Bush cannot defeat terrorism by creating terrorists! The insane, preemptive, unnecessary, war in Iraq has accomplished more for terrorism than liberation for Iraqis! Somehow, what starts with lies, always ends up in sh*t! The Lieberman loss was a good example of not being able to "fool all the people all the time" and it's time to end the insanity of the Repuglican Party NOW!

"The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing and expecting a different result." So says John Arquilla, a defense analyst at the Naval Postgraduate School, in an article for the New Yorker Magazine by Seymour Hersh. While describing George Bush, Dick Cheney, and this administration's failures in fighting the war on terrorism, it could also be descriptive of the insanity in the group-think of the Repuglican Party and the very reasons why Americans want and desperately need a change in Washington's policy makers!

I borrow a statement made by Robert Borosage, co-director of the Campaign for America's Future, in an article for the Asia times regarding the Lieberman loss--- "His victory represents a growing voter revolt against the failed policies and politics of the Bush administration and its congressional enablers, particularly the debacle in Iraq," which says exactly what I perceive is the state of the nation today. It is the reason why the voters are leaving George Bush, the Bush administration and the Repuglican majority in Congress. We know by their actions and inactions they are incapable ofeading America!

"Panel Suggests Using Inmates in Drug Trials" -- Shades of Dr. Josef Mengele -- and some thought, "never again"! Strange, don'tcha think, that so many Nazi atrocities are being dusted off, revived, and recycled since George Bush stole his way into the Oval Office? Is this another case of sick twisted minds thinking alike?

Yeah, sure, George Bush, his administration, the U.S. military leadership, and the Repuglicans really care about our soldiers! Really???? Then why the hell are they allowing the use of Depleted Uranium?
