Call it what you will, “a war on terror,” “sectarian violence,” “a civil war,” but no matter what you call it, it still means innocent people are dying every day in a preemptive unnecessary war that has no winners and a whole lot of losers!!!

Proof positive that laws that put guns in the hands of lunatics and in the hands of the inexperienced kill people!

Repuglican strategists believe that threats of impending “impeachment” proceedings, if the Democrats win a majority in November, will work well in the Repugs' campaign efforts to defeat the Democrats!  What Repuglicans don’t realize, the public has had enough of George Bush, his preemptive wars, the death and destruction resulting from his never ending war, his arrogance, his ineptitude, his failed policies, and his disgusting in your face stubborn spoiled brat approach to governance!  And if impeachment is what it’s gonna take to get rid of him, then “bring it on”!!!

While there are those radicals in America who are breathlessly watching the events in the Middle-East with unbridled anticipation, there are some of us who are witnesses to the reality of the horror that George Bush has created!  I am appalled at the numbers of innocent people who are dying on a daily basis, and I am horrified by the hints that this mess called war will be expanded to include Syria and Iran! The insanity of it all is overwhelming.

Today’s the day to see first hand if the “black-box” voting machines are in pristine Repuglicofascist working order!  Who and/or what will be the winner, will it be “the war and kiss of death Joe Lieberman” or “antiwar and Ned Lamont”?  Will there be exit polls?  Hmm, an interesting day coming up!

For all intents and purposes it sounds so noble, “a bipartisan commission quietly started work last spring with a mandate to help the Bush administration rethink its policy toward the war.” and wouldn’t we all like to see “a fresh set of policies” regarding Iraq!  But alas and alack, it sounds more like Poppy’s ordered another mop up, cover up for #2.   And as he has so many times before, again Poppy has chosen his good friend James Baker for the job!  “He's utterly ruthless and very effective at what he does. When they [the Bushes] get into an emergency, they call Baker.”  With all the talk flying around about “war crimes, human rights violations, subverting the Constitution, warrantless wiretaps, ignoring the Geneva Conventions, signing statements,” etc., etc., etc., I’d say that constitutes an emergency of paramount proportions!!!  And to the neo-cons I’d say, Baker may be looking for some place to lay the blame, and you guys, having hooked your cart and support to the wrong horse, are now in line!  "You'll notice, of course, that there are no neocons on the task force," said a member of one of the working groups. In assembling the task force, Wolf, Baker and Hamilton were careful to avoid the neocons.”
