It's become an annual tradition at Truthout to welcome in the New Year with a Syracuse Cultural Workers' peace calendar. Each year hundreds of readers order these progressive, visually striking wall date keepers.

This year's calendar is dedicated to the Occupy movement. As the Syracuse Cultural Workers write, "Eighteen incredibly varied images of Occupy poster art comprise this collaged tribute to the transforming energy of the movement. In 2013, we’ll continue to shake up the status quo (1%!) and invite people to engage with us in changing our political system!"

Each month is dedicated to a progressive topic with vibrant full-page custom artwork. November, for instance, features support for Bradley Manning. March focuses on ending patriarchy in our society.

Details of the calendar include:

Full color, 14 x 22 on your wall
    Over 200 people’s history annotations
    Holidays for many faiths
    Lunar cycles, 13 native moons

Give a New Year's gift of peace to your friends: Occupy the future with peace. Call 213-489-1971.
